Notes: One visit taken, one visit set
With the holiday season upon us, combined with an NCAA mandated two-week 'Dead' period in the process, recruiting has come to all but a standstill for now. However, InsidetheGators.net was able to catch up with a current commitment and a top target for quick updates.

As prolific punter Chas Henry walked across the stage during Saturday's University of Florida, Gator fans can rest assured that a future punter lies right around the corner.
Actually, Florida's punter of the future was literally around the corner from Henry on Saturday; Kyle Christy used the weekend to take his official visit to Gainesville.
"It went really well," Christy said of his visit and his meeting with Coach Will Muschamp.
The Blacksburg (In.) standout, who is rated by Rivals seventh nationally among kickers, said that despite the coaching change at Florida, he remains fully committed to the Gators.
"Coach seemed like a really cool guy," the 6-foot-2, 175-pound Christy said. "I'm looking forward to getting to play for him."
Christy and the other recruits that were in town stopped by the home of Urban and Shelley Meyer for a visit.
Christy said his visit with the Meyers was "really fun." He added that the two did not speak of Meyer's future role with the Florida program.
Immediately after Christmas Christy will head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in order to take part in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.
LINEMAN WILL VISIT IN JANUARY
One player who has yet to take his official visit to Florida is Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County three-star offensive tackle Xzavier Ward.
The 6-foot-7, 255-pounder has only one scheduled official visit thus far, January 7 to Alabama, and tentatively has an official visit set with Florida for the next weekend (1/14).
He also plans to set dates with Auburn, Clemson and Georgia.
When asked which programs are recruiting him hardest, Ward replied, "I'd say Clemson, Auburn, and Florida."
To this point in the recruiting process Ward claims that he doesn't have a leader and hasn't put his top five in any sort of pecking order.
When it comes time to do that, it will be based on three criteria.
"I'll see how my family likes it. How do I feel, and do they feel comfortable with me being there and the depth chart."
Ward said that he hasn't gotten the chance to speak with new Florida coach Muschamp yet.
