Dan Mullen and company dipped into the recruitments of several prospects last week, with one of them being Northeast product Braden Davis.

UF assistant Brian Johnson was the one who delivered Davis the goods news about his offer from the program on Friday.
Davis, son of former Tennessee Volunteer OL Antone Davis, spoke to GT about coach Johnson's message to him and his reaction to Florida's offer last week.
“He’s been watching my tape that I’ve been putting out," Davis told GT. "He definitely sees me as the versatile quarterback that they’re looking for. He sees that I could fit their offense and do what they need me to do. If I keep progressing, then I would definitely fit their system in the future.
