Recruiting Hot Board: Pass Catchers

With the summer camps season now behind us, Florida has but one more big recruiting event before the start of the 2016 football season - Friday Night Lights in late July.

Inside the Gators takes a position by position look at what the Recruiting Hot Board looks like here in mid June.

THE SKINNY 6/18: This four-star commitment has been very solid in his verbal pledge since pulling the trigger last summer. While he’s been a frequent visitor to campus, he's still planning to see some other campuses this summer while on a bus tour with his 7-on-7 team. Ole Miss is the school Green mentions most when asked what other programs have kept in touch with him.

THE SKINNY 6/18: He was just reclassified from wide out to tight end by Rivals.com. Florida sees Gamble as a “H-Back” or tight end at the next level. He pulled the trigger the evening of the Gators spring football game, and has been recruiting others from south Florida to come and join him. The Gators are hoping to snag quite a few of Gamble’s teammates at Southridge High School as well.

THE SKINNY 6/18: This five-star is currently the highest rated receiver on the Gators board. Florida is very high on his athletic ability and mix of size and speed as well. Michigan seems to be the Gators biggest competition for now, but do not sleep on Florida here. UF commit Jake Allen was in Peoples-Jones ear heavily at the Five-Star Challenge.
