With the summer camps season now behind us, Florida has but one more big recruiting event before the start of the 2016 football season - Friday Night Lights in late July.

THE SKINNY 6/24: On Wednesday this four-star defender made his commitment to the Gators, becoming the eighth total verbal pledge of the 2017 class. Florida likes his mix of length and speed. He plans to return to Gainesville for an official visit when the Gators host LSU this fall. He also has mentioned official visits down the road to Utah, Nebraska, and possibly Arizona.
THE SKINNY 6/24: This three-star lockdown corner has the Gators on top and is looking to visit sometime soon. He is one who could be added to the commitment list sooner rather than later.
THE SKINNY 6/24: This newly minted four-star is committed to Miami, but has the Gators running in second. He’s visited campus countless times despite his commitment to the Hurricanes. Henderson is planning summer visits to Mississippi State, Alabama, Florida, and Miami.
