FOUR-STAR HAS FLORIDA OFFICIAL VISIT SET

Roswell (Ga.) four-star safety Xavier McKinney officially visited Clemson over the weekend. He also has December official visits set up with Florida and Georgia.

The one time Alabama commit is down to five finalists.

FIVE-STAR PARKS MAY VISIT

Sebastian (Fla.) River five-star defensive end Jarez Parks is one of the most evasive prospects in the nation when it comes to nailing him down on where he stands in the recruiting process.

DEFENSIVE TACKLE DECOMMITS

On Tuesday evening Largo (Fla.) Pinellas Park defensive tackle Jordon Scott decommitted from Florida.

The talk of him not being part of this class began in earnest a couple of weeks ago when he visited Florida for the Missouri game. Then it intensified when he was the only instate commit that the Florida coaching staff didn't check in on when they hit the road in full force during the bye week.

GATORS OFFER 2017 RUNNING BACK

Two news items at the running back position today that could potentially impact the Florida Gators this recruiting cycle.

First, in the Alley we have a report that after being suspended twice from his high school football team, current Gators running back commit Adarius Lemons is no longer enrolled at Clearwater.

IN THE ALLEY: Lemons enrolls at another school

After that news broke earlier today, we now find out that Florida has extended a new offer at the position.

Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit three-star Malik Davis tweeted out that he has received an offer from Florida today.

It is doubtful that the Gators want two running backs in this class. So, read into this development what you will.

FLORIDA OFFERS 2018 DEFENSIVE END

On Wednesday Florida extended an offer to Seffner (Fla.) Armwood 2018 defensive end Malcolm Lamar. The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder already has over a dozen offers, including from SEC programs such as Tennessee, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

FLORIDA COMMIT ANNOUNCES MIAMI VISIT

Florida four-star offensive tackle commit Kadeem Telfort announced today via Twitter that he will soon be officially visiting Miami. Despite maintaining that he is firm with Florida, the Miami (Fla.) BTW Rivals250 member was supposed to take an unofficial visit to see the Hurricanes face Florida State two weeks ago, but was unable to make it.

FLORIDA IN CONTACT WITH JUCO LINEMAN

Gamecock Central here on the Rivals Network is reporting that Florida is one of several schools who have recently made contact with Brooklyn (N.Y.) ASA College offensive tackle Malick Besseck.

Though the Gators haven't offered, they have checked up on the 6-foot-5, 270-pounder.
