Six Florida players will be suspended for Saturday's season opener against Toledo.
The Gainesville Sun and the Palm Beach Post reported Thursday evening the Gators have suspended cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy, wide receiver Latroy Pittman, defensive tackle Darious Cummings, defensive tackle Jay-nard Bostwick and offensive tackle Quinteze Williams have been suspended. That's in addition to sophomore linebacker Antonio Morrison, who has been suspended for the Toledo game since July for two offseason arrests.

Purifoy and Pittman are reportedly both suspended for positive marijuana tests.
UF coach Will Muschamp was asked Wednesday if there would be any players other than Morrison suspended for disciplinary reasons in the season's first game. He said, "No."
