Rivals100 linebacker announcing Friday morning

On Friday morning Cleveland (Ohio) Benedictine Rivals100 athlete Jerome Baker will make his college announcement known to the world. Heading into the decision Baker has narrowed things down to a final three consisting of Florida, Ohio State and Tennessee.
Early Thursday things were pretty much as they were a week ago. Baker was still up in the air with his decision and hadn't made up his mind just yet.

"I pretty much have a good idea of where I want to go," Baker told Inside The Gators a week ago. "Honestly I am going back and forth with it everyday. It changes during the day I wake up and it's one school and go to sleep and it's another school. I do think I have a good idea of where I want to go, but it changes daily."
The 6-foot-1, 206-pounder will make his announcement at his high school at 10:00 a.m. with his family and coaches. The home state Ohio State Buckeyes have been the heavy favorite to land the four-star linebacker, but there has been a lot of chatter of a late surge by the Florida Gators.
That late surge is due in large part to Baker's relationship with Florida defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin.
"Coach Durkin did a great job of selling me on what I would do in their defense and that was probably the best tool that he could use and he showed me what I would do and what position I would be used for," explained Baker. "He showed me how my role as Will linebacker effects the defense and that was great to see. I spent a lot of time with coach Durkin and him being my position coach I love talking to him about football and life and everything. He is such a great person to talk to and I can open up with him and have a conversation about anything."
