Rivals100 lineman Leatherwood headed to Florida's Friday Night Lights
This summer has been a busy one for Pensacola (Fla.) Washington Rivals100 offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood. Between participating in satellite camps and taking recruiting visits this summer, Leatherwood also made time to participate in the summers elite events: The Nike Opening and the Rivals Five-Star Challenge.
Getting a chance to take part in both of those events, going against the the best of the best in his graduating class, was something that meant a lot to Leatherwood.
“I am very appreciative to have that honor and in my eyes getting a chance to work at both of those camps is the highest form of praise and recognition. I am glad I went to both,” stated Leatherwood.
Despite an early commitment to Alabama, the four-star big man still hears from programs such as Miami, LSU, Florida, Southern Cal and Michigan.
