Rivals100 safety Hunter gets 1-on-1 time with Gray at Satellite Camp stop
ATLANTA, Ga. | Before his arrival in the Peach State for the Rivals Five-Star Challenge, Chesapeake (Va.) Indian River safety Devon Hunter participated in the Florida Gators Satellite Camp in Virginia.
During that camp the Rivals100 member was able to work hand-and-hand with Florida’s defensive backs coach Torrian Gray.
“It was great going out and being able to get some good work in,” said Hunter of his experience with Gray. “I got to work with coach Gray and he was coaching me up some. It was nice to see how he coaches guys and I like how he preaches fundamentals. You have to be perfect in every way from your feet to your arms and your drops. It makes you a better player.”
The four-star’s relationship with Gray dates back to his time at Virginia Tech. Since Gray’s departure for the Sunshine State their bond has only gotten stronger.
