When you are one of the most highly sought after prospects in the southeast, the recruiting process can be full of twists and turns as you attempt to figure out what is in your own best interests while making a decision that will impact the rest of your life.
At times, that can lead to unexpected events.
Take for instance the last five days in the life of Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest Rivals250 wide receiver Jacob Copeland. Without question it has been a wild and wacky roller-coaster ride of a week on the recruiting front for the four-star out of the Panhandle.
On Saturday, after visiting Florida on Friday and Clemson on Saturday, he tweeted out that he knew where he was going to play college football.
Then, after visiting Auburn on Sunday he announced he had a final two of Auburn and Florida and would announce his choice at the Under Armour All-American Bowl in January.

However, by Tuesday night he had switched up and expanded his list to a final five of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
What’s Next: Keep a close eye on visits from coaches over the spring evaluation period and then who he actually visits over the summer. After that, it's time to set up fall official and unofficial visits. Actions speak louder than words (or tweets). In the case of Copeland, follow the visits...
The Skinny: On one hand you get the feeling this expanded final five list is more about keeping some suspense surrounding his commitment in January more-so than anything else. However, on the other hand, anything can happen over the next 10 months. If you are a Florida fan, just by judging Copeland's actions from the very beginning, you would have to feel pretty good about where the Gators stand. A guess at the pecking order would be Florida, Auburn and then the other three bringing up the rear.
