The University of Florida was in the headlines on Sunday afternoon, as Rivals250 linebacker target Shemar James turned down in-state Alabama by committing to the Gators shortly after wrapping up his official visit.

Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, LSU, Texas A&M and Tennessee are some additional schools that offered James, a native of Mobile, Alabama.
