Social Slant: Rivals250 defensive tackle set to announce
Florida has a very good chance of adding one of its top targets to the fold on Friday with Princeton (NJ) Hun School Rivals250 defensive tackle Fred Hansard set to announce his college decision. The four-star defender plans to release his commitment via social media and will be choosing from Florida, Rutgers, and Tennessee.

What’s Next: Hansard will release his decision on his Twitter account with a prerecorded video through Bleacher Report. Hansard has visited all three of his finalists, with Florida being the most recent trip last month. He plans to announce his commitment around 10 A.M. on Friday morning.
Blake’s Take: As of Thursday evening Hansard has yet to inform any school of his intentions. I have felt confident that he will pick Florida coming off his visit to Gainesville in July for Friday Night Lights. Fast forward to now and I am sticking with my pick, but Rutgers should not be counted out just yet. The Gators have a need at defensive tackle and that has been their main selling point, with the Scarlet Knights vying to keep this legacy player close to home. It should also be noted that even if Hansard does in fact pick the Gators on Friday, that Rutgers will be a threat all the way until Signing Day – and vice versa.
