What’s Next: Tatum is slated to make his commitment on January 11th between finalists Alabama, Florida, Miami, and Tennessee. So far Tatum has only taken an official visit to Tennessee, but he’s taken quite a few unofficial visits to Florida over the spring, summer, and fall. Though he lists four finalists many feel Florida and Tennessee are the schools in the best position to land the three-star tackle.

Blake’s Take: Tatum isn’t the biggest lineman in this class by any means. He currently carries roughly 250-pounds on his narrow frame, but many feel he is the top tackle in the state of Florida for the 2016 class. Despite a slender build, Tatum is very athletic and has quick feet off the edge. A redshirt year would be ideal for Tatum, but if he can add the weight he will be a solid player down the road giving him tremendous upside. Florida is confident in their chances to land Tatum, but is well aware that Tennessee has made a late surge over the last few months - especially with the hire of the Miami coach who was recruiting him for the Hurricanes.
