On Saturday, Florida announced the hiring of two new assistant coaches - USF defensive backs coach Corey Bell and North Texas offensive line coach Brad Davis - in the wake of Torrian Gray's departure to the Washington Redskins. Now, Inside the Gators takes a closer look at both Bell and Davis with a Take Five.

FIVE OF BELL’S PREVIOUS STOPS

1. Bell accepted a spot on Charlie Strong's new USF staff as its defensive backs coach and recruiting coordinator in early January, but his time with the Bulls lasted not even a month.

2. Before that short stint, Bell was FAU's defensive backs coach for three seasons (2014-16) on Charlie Partridge's staff. FAU's passing defense has ranked 87th, 81st and 110th the past three years.

3. In between his time at Miami and FAU, Bell served as Hialeah (Fla.) American Senior High School's head coach from 2011-13.

4. Bell served under Randy Shannon at Miami from 2007-10 as his director of football operations. Now, he rejoins Shannon, who is Florida's new defensive coordinator.

5. From 1997-2007, Bell served as Miami Edison Senior High School's head coach. He took over the program at 25 years old, making him the youngest head coach in the state of Florida. Bell helped Edison become one of Dade County's top programs, as his teams made five consecutive state playoff appearances and won three-straight district titles, while also earning a No. 1 ranking in the county in 2003.
