Santa Clarita, Calif. College of the Canyons is home to a terrific defensive lineman in 6-foot-3 and 255-pound Dorian Gerald.

Gerald, who has scholarship offers from name football programs all across the country, is currently committed to the Tennessee Volunteers and has been since the summer.

Despite his pledge, there’s a chance that Gerald has a change of heart.

This prospect, who’s originally from Florence, S.C., doesn’t believe he’ll sign a Letter of Intent until February. And he’ll look into other schools before he signs anything.

“I’m taking all my visits,” Gerald told InsidetheGators.com.

He understands that a change could be coming for Tennessee’s coaching staff.

“I’m a firm Tennessee commit, but it’s obvious to the world what’s going on,” Gerald said of his commitment to the Volunteers. “There’s been talks about a lot of stuff at Tennessee. I’m very open.”

"Florida is a great school, great people, great coaches and it’s definitely a school I’m interested in. I like Florida."
