The final rundown of Florida offensive targets at The Opening

A collection of 166 of the best football players in America brings with it plenty of action and a glimpse at the future. This week from the Nike campus in Beaverton, Inside the Gators was able to take note of many Florida targets and the lone commit competing at ‘Football Heaven.’

Here is a closer look at those on the offensive side of the ball.

QUARTERBACK

PERFORMANCE: As far as the Gator Nation is concerned, the most notable participant was Justin Fields. From our vantage point, Fields, whose team won the 7-on championship, was the best overall quarterback on the field. He is not going to win any long ball competitions, but he shows amazing consistency with great touch. He understands the game and showed himself to be a great leader.

The other quarterback target, Matt Corral, showed impressive arm-strength winning the long ball competition. He showed good footwork during drills. He can make all the throws and has the chance to be a very special quarterback.

RECRUITING: Florida is in the running for each of the two quarterbacks listed above, but might not be the leader for either. Anyone or any predictor showing that they know where Fields will end up is kidding themselves and you. He doesn't know yet, so there's no way anyone else does. Corral, who is visiting Alabama, Florida and Georgia later this month, is probably leaning to Georgia, but will the Bulldogs take him early and risk losing out on Fields is the question?
