With No. 11 Florida's disappointing 31-10 loss at Arkansas in the books, Inside the Gators now presents three takeaways from Saturday's contest in Fayetteville.
1. When you thought Florida's offense would never return to being as bad as it was late last year with Treon Harris under center, it certainly reached those levels of atrocity Saturday in Fayetteville.
The Gators offense failed to score a touchdown for the first time since its 27-2 loss to Florida State last season and amassed only 241 yards against a Razorbacks defense that was dismantled in a 56-3 loss at Auburn two weeks ago. (A good chunk of those yards came in garbage time for the Gators.) Florida's running backs combined for just 37 yards on 11 carries against Arkansas, which allowed 543 rushing yards against the Tigers. To compare, the Razorbacks racked up 223 yards and two touchdowns on the ground on 49 carries.
