Top safety talking summer visits

Though Boiling Springs (N.C.) safety Rhaheim Ledbetter has been spending most of his summer vacation doing anything but vacationing, he will have an opportunity to fit in a couple of unofficial visits in-between all of the summer work outs and practices with his teammates.
"I'm really just spending this summer with my team trying to get better as team and trying not to focus on recruiting too much," stated Ledbetter. "But me and Bullard will visit Miami and Florida this summer."

There are rumors abound that the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Ledbetter and his teammate Jonathan Bullard want to play college ball together.
Despite the fact that so called package deals rarely come to fruition, for his part, Ledbetter confirmed that is indeed the plan.
"We will absolutely sign with the same college when it becomes time to sign," exclaimed Ledbetter
The Crest prospect says that even though he is only taking two visits this summer, he still has a list of about five schools he is currently looking at.
"Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Miami and Clemson are still in the running for me right now."
The Rivals three-star went on to break down why these five schools are still in contention for him.
Florida: "They are recruiting me the hardest right now. I have a good connection with Coach Durkin and Coach Muschamp. We talk a lot and all the time. I speak to Coach Durkin every Friday. He tells me that I can come in and play early and that I am a high priority to him and the staff."
Alabama: "They have starting talking to me a lot lately and sending me a lot of mail and stuff. They have really came on late in the process. I'm not sure though if I will visit them or not."
Miami: "I talk to their wide receiver coach a lot he's a real cool guy. They are coming on hard lately with me. I have always liked Miami as well. And they are Miami, so I'm interested in them, but I need to learn more about them."
South Carolina: "Coach Elliot is a coach I talk to a lot from there -- we speak every week. I recently took a visit to them and I really like it a lot. They tell me that I can play running back or safety there, but I will probably play safety no matter what. They are also high on me and Bullard."
Clemson: "I really haven't talk to them much lately and they haven't really shown me a lot of interest, but I plan on visiting them sometime."
At one time there was talk that the Crest duo would have another prospect join them to make a trio of prospect to sign with one school. However, that doesn't seem as likely anymore.
"We talk to Carlos Watkins a lot, but in the end he will have to make the best decision for him, so I'm not sure if we will all sign with the same place anymore."
Ledbetter says he plans on deciding sometime during his senior football season.
