It didn't take long for Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange offensive tackle Stone Forsythe to commit to the University of Florida after picking up his offer from the Gators earlier this week.
The admitted Florida fan grew up following the Orange and Blue, and said he couldn't pass up the opportunity to take his talents to Gainesville.
"I chose Florida because I've grown up a Gator fan and I've always wanted to play in the Swamp," Forsythe told Inside the Gators.
According to the three-star big man he notified the Gators staff of his plans moments ago and his news was well received.
"They were very excited that I'm part of the Gator family now," said the 6-foot-7, 311-pounder.
Forsythe is the 10th commitment in the Gators 2016 class, and is the first along the offensive line. He is also still looking into possible enrolling early in college and according to him he only needs to finish one class to qualify for early graduation.
