Maybe the biggest prospect to keep an eye on to kick off the weekend is West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer three-star wide receiver Isaiah Johnson. This is the 6-foot-3, 199-pounder's second straight weekend visiting Florida. When Johnson visited Gainesville last weekend he was a Miami commitment. That was no longer the case at the end of his visit. After he decommitted from Miami he named the Gators as his leader. He is absolutely on commitment watch.
Johnson's 2017 teammate, Miami quarterback commit, Todd Centeio will also be on campus as well. This isn't Centeio's first visit to Gainesville, but it is his first visit since the new staff has been in place.
Another prospect to keep an eye on for a commitment is Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star safety Spencer Perry. This visit will be Perry's third visit of the spring, and Perry has seemed to get more and more interested in Florida over the span of the last several weeks.
A trio from Winter Gardens (Fla.) West Garden are also expected on campus Friday. Wide receiver Eddie McDoom, quarterback Woody Barrett and offensive lineman Stone Forsythe. McDoom has been very high on the Gators since picking up an offer from the Orange & Blue last month. Neither Forsythe or Barrett currently have an offer from Florida at this time, but are looking to add one.
Barrett has the Gators in his current top five despite not having an offer.
Another Orlando area visitor expected in is Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola three-star athlete Carlos Becker. This is Becker's first trip to Gainesville since the Kentucky game last season. Becker has picked up tons of big offers so far this spring. He is a long 6-foot-3, 185-pounds and is considered one of the top defensive backs in the state of Florida this cycle despite his three-star ranking.
Both Florida commits from Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines - wide receiver Rick Wells and defensive end JaQuan Bailey - are expected to make it into town. This will be Wells second visit to Gainesville this week alone.
Two underclassmen of note visiting Friday are Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic 2017 offensive tackle Blake Vinson, and 2017 wide receiver Kemore Gamble.
SATURDAY
Saturday has just as many big time prospects as Friday. Kicking off the list is both Florida commits from south Florida, Vosean Joseph and Eric Mitchell. This is their first trip to Gainesville since committing to the Gators.
A Saturday visitor that is considered on commitment watch is Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge running back Tyrek Tisdale. This is Tisdale's second visit to Florida in as many weeks and the Gators are considered a top school for his services. His current high school head coach is a former Gator (Elijah Williams) helping to make sure that Florida was an offer Tisdale had his eye on.
One of the top priorities this cycle will be on campus when Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore offensive tackle Parker Boudreaux visits. This is the four-star big man's second visit of the spring to Gainesville. He has been to Clemson as well. Boudreaux claims a long list of offers, and many believe the Tigers hold the edge at this time.
Two big visitors from the state of Georgia will be Rivals100 linebacker Tre Lamar and unranked linebacker Ja'Quain Blakely. This will be the Peach State duos first visit to Florida.
Another linebacker expected is Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf Rivals250 Miami commit Shaquille Quarterman. The four-star maintains he is very solid to the Hurricanes, but has continued to take visits to other schools.
Keep an eye on Naples (Fla.) three-star running back Carlin Fils-Aime to show up on campus Saturday. According to the 5-foot-11, 175-pounder he is still ironing out final touches on transportation plans to get to Gainesville.
Another prospect of note expected in is 2017 five-star safety DeAngelo Gibbs.
Check in throughout the weekend for updates on these visitors and more.
