Wednesday injury updates

Will Muschamp updated the status of three injuries Wednesday, but the hottest topic in Gainesville at the moment remains up in the air.
Junior quarterback Tyler Murphy is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Georgia Southern after seeing limited repetitions in practice Tuesday. Murphy suffered a sprain of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint in his throwing shoulder against LSU on Oct. 12 and reinjured it against Vanderbilt on Nov. 9.

Murphy did not practice last week and in turn sat out against South Carolina Saturday in a 19-14 loss that saw the Gators run 88 percent of the time until trailing late in the fourth quarter.
"He threw a little bit yesterday, and we'll see what he can do today," Muschamp said. "We'll go from there."
"If we had to play today, Skyler Mornhinweg would start and be ready to go in the game. He had a good day yesterday. … It's all about (Tyler's) discomfort level right now. He's gotten better every day. You look from Sunday to today, it's much, much, much improved. We'll just continue to work through that. It's all about his comfort level. Right now, the shoulder is stable and all of that."
Sophomore left tackle D.J. Humphries (sprained MCL) was listed as doubtful Monday and was officially ruled out Wednesday.
"He tried to do some things yesterday and is just not strong enough in the MCL right now," Muschamp said. "We hope to get him back next week."
Junior cornerback Marcus Roberson (ankle) will not play Saturday. Muschamp also expects Roberson back against Florida State. Roberson missed Saturday's game against South Carolina due to a suspension, though Muschamp said Monday Roberson would not have been able to play because of the injury even if he had not been suspended.
