OFFICIAL VISITORS FOR JANUARY 27th 2017

Interest: Low

Others: Colorado, LSU, and Texas

The Skinny: Chaisson bumped an official visit to USC in favor of visiting Florida. The four-star defender has mainly focused on Texas and LSU (who visited him Friday morning before he boarded his flight to Gainesville) to this point, and with this visit being his first ever to UF, he would really have to fall in love to pick the Gators.

Interest: Medium

Others: Louisville and Miami

The Skinny: Coming off his official visit to Miami this past weekend the Hurricanes are feeling pretty confident on bringing this former commit back into the fold. Florida has a much bigger need at his position and will pitch that to him over the weekend. Edwards is close with defensive coordinator Randy Shannon, and likes the fact Florida wants to move him around in the secondary.

Interest: High

Others: FAU, FIU, and Kentucky

The Skinny: This three-star defender was offered by the Gators earlier this week after getting a visit from Jim McElwain and multiple other Florida coaches. Abadi-Fitzgerald will visit Kentucky from Friday to Saturday and will use his official to Florida for Sunday.

Interest: High

Others: Maryland

The Skinny: This three-star will be making his first ever visit to Florida with his twin brother. Gaddy is committed to Maryland, but is still very interested in the Gators as well. Though he is listed as an athlete, the Gators will be bringing him in to play defensive tackle.

Interest: High

Others: Maryland

The Skinny: Like his twin brother this four-star also plays defensive tackle, which is a big need for the Gators still. He is also committed to Maryland as well and has said in the past he is 50-50 between the Terps and Gators.

Interest: Medium

Others: Kentucky, Miami, and N.C. State

The Skinny: This three-star big man seems to be the Gators only offensive tackle option left on the board. He is committed to Miami, but has continues to take visits, with Florida hosting him the final weekend before signing day.

Interest: High

Others: None

The Skinny: This former running back commit has been dealing with some issues this fall, while working to make improvements in the classroom. Lemons still has some hoops to jump through before the Gators contemplate bringing him back into the class.

Interest: Medium

Others: Oklahoma

The Skinny: This Sooners commit has been very solid with Oklahoma, but after a late offer from the Gators he decided to come down for a visit. This visit to Gainesville will be Rambo’s first ever, so many questions will need to be answered during his time in town.

Interest: Medium

Others: Alabama and Tennessee

The Skinny: The buzz for quite some time has been that Ray will be staying home to attend Alabama. If you ask Ray he is still mulling over things, and went into his visits with an open mind. The Gators are pitching early playing time this weekend in hopes of stealing him from the Crimson Tide.

Interest: High

Others: Houston

The Skinny: The Gators offered this Houston defensive back commit earlier this week and he immediately set up an official visit to Gainesville. With all the coaching turnover at Houston, one has to think this would be a flip the Gators could pull off if they chose to go that route.

Interest: High

Others: Arizona State, Arkansas, and TCU

The Skinny: The Gators have felt very good about their chances to land this four-star defender for many months now. At one time he was planning to make his commitment at the end of summer, and many predicated the pick to be Florida. Fast forward to today and UF is still considered the team to beat.

Interest: Low

Others: Georgia and South Carolina

The Skinny: Wyatt is currently committed to Georgia, but says he is 50-50 between the Bulldogs and South Carolina, a school he was formerly committed to. The Gators will host him this weekend for his first time ever on campus. Heading into this trip the Gators have quite a bit of work to do here.
