With the Florid playing their first SEC game of the season in the Swamp, as you might expect, the visitor list is stocked with top tier talent. This weekend the Gators will not only have many of their commitments on hand, but also quite a few targets from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes.
Once again the Gators will have many of their commits on hand doing some recruiting of their own from the South end zone bleachers. Leading the pack is Rivals100 cornerback Chauncey Gardner, who has made all of Florida's home games this season. Also expected in is running back LaMical Perine, offensive lineman Brett Heggie, offensive lineman Stone Forsythe, wide receiver Rick Wells, defensive end JaQuan Bailey, cornerback Jayvaughn Myers, linebacker Jeremiah Moon, safety Jeawon Taylor, cornerback Christopher McWilliams and wide receiver Isaiah Johnson.
2017 commitments Jake Allen and DaQuon Green are also expected in to see this SEC East rivalry as well.
Florida will host a handful of five-star prospects this weekend on unofficial visits.
Leading that group is Tampa (Fla.) Catholic wide receiver Nate Craig-Myers, who could perhaps be one of the Gators biggest remaining targets. The Gators have been trending upward for the top wide out after hosting him on campus various times over the summer and fall.
Another five-star Tampa area target expected in is Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive lineman Shavar Manuel. He is yet another prospect that Florida has gained ground with over the last few months. Currently Florida is in Manuel's top three along with LSU and Auburn, but the Gators probably have the edge here currently.
Two other five-star's expected are Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy tight end Isaac Nauta and Montgomery (Ala.) Caver linebacker Lyndell Wilson. Both prospects have mentioned Florida at some point in their recruitment, but the Gators have work to do as far as landing a commitment from the duo.
With the Gators looking to bolster their wide receiver corps to finish out the 2016 class they will once again have many of the nation's best receivers in Gainesville this weekend. For the second time this fall Miami commitment Sam Bruce will take in a Florida game, to check out his close friend, and freshman running back Jordan Scarlett. Citra (Fla.) North Marion wide receiver Freddie Swain will also make the short trip up I-75 on Saturday for the second time this fall to see a Florida game. Two interesting names expected in are Wakulla (Fla.) Rivals250 wide receiver Keith Gavin and Warner Robins (Ga.) Rivals250 Marquez Callaway. This will be the first time the Gators will play host to either of these prospects, and with the Gators looking to add playmakers out wide they likely are hoping to get some traction on the visit. Two other pass catchers at the tight end position expected in from the Tampa area is three-star Jacob Mathis, and 2017 Rivals250 tight end Tre McKitty, who is committed to Miami, but has visited Florida numerous times over the last couple of months.
A few other wide outs expected in from the 2017 class are Rivals100 wide receiver James Robinson, Montgomery (Ala.) Robert E. Lee wide receiver Henry Ruggs and three-star wide receiver CJ Cotman.
Along the offensive line the Gators will host one of their biggest remaining targets in Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland offensive tackle Marcus Tatum. Florida currently leads for the three-star big man, with Tennessee and Arkansas also in the mix as well. A new name popping up on Florida's radar of note is Seminole (Fla.) three-star offensive tackle Brandon Walton. The Gators currently haven't offered Walton, but he is a guy the staff has high interest in. Two other tackles from the 2017 class expected in are Citra (Fla.) North Marion offensive tackle Blake Vinson and Pensacola (Fla.) Washington offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, an Alabama commitment.
On the defensive side of the ball, the prospects visiting along the defensive line might be the most impressive group overall. Making his first visit of the fall is Florida State Rivals100 commitment Janarius Robinson. Though he remains committed to the Seminoles, he is keeping his options open. Another top 100 defensive end expected in is Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County defensive end Antonneous Clayton. Auburn and Florida are currently the top two schools for the four-star end. Making his first trip of the fall this weekend is Buford (Ga.) three-star defensive tackle Ben Frazier. The Gators are one of a handful of schools in contention for Frazier, who will also take an official visit to UF later on this year. The Gators are currently looking to make up some ground on Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland defensive end Jachai Polite. Miami currently is the top school for this three-star end, but Florida is still very much in the mix here after picking up an offer from the Gators in July.
A few other linemen expected in are three-star defensive end Mykelle McDaniel, 2017 defensive end Zachary Carter, 2017 defensive end Malik Herring, 2017 defensive end Xach Gill and 2017 defensive tackle Cory Durden.
With the Gators still on the prowl for linebackers this recruiting cycle - several top targets will be in town for the game. One interesting name expected in is three-star N.C. State commitment Brock Miller. Florida has yet to offer the 6-foot-3, 208-pounder, but that could change depending on how the board plays out. Looking ahead to the Class of 2017 - Florida will host three guys near the top of the position rankings. The crown jewel of the three is Shelby (NC) Crest Rivals100 linebacker Justin Foster. Currently the Gators are looking to become a player here, and are hoping the play of a former Crest standout Jonathan Bullard during Saturday's game can make an impact on Foster. The other two linebackers expected in from the 2017 class are three-star Sterling Jones, and Rivals250 linebacker Jaden Hunter.
With Florida close to a full house already in the defensive back position in 2016, the staff is now able to cherry pick prospects down the road and also look ahead to 2017. A few prospects in the secondary expected in are safety Antonio Nelson, 2017 athlete Devan Barrett, and 2017 UGA commit Deejay Dallas.
Three names to keep an eye on Saturday from the 2018 class are Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian athlete Tyreke Johnson, 2018 offensive tackle Marcus Jenkins and athlete Jacob Copeland.
Check Inside the Gators Alligator Alley Forum throughout the weekend for the latest from all the visitors.

The
Skinny: Although he is an admitted Florida fan growing up, this will be Lawrence's first ever trip to Gainesville to actually see the Gators in action. The Gators are hoping to hit this visit out of the ball park in hopes of getting Lawrence to look a bit more closely at what's going on in Gainesville. Alabama is a school recently that has come on strong, but in the end many in the know with his recruitment wonder how far away from home Lawrence will go.

The
Skinny: After decommitting from Ohio State just over a month ago, many schools attempted to jump into the mix for the Rivals100 end. At this time Alabama is the current leader, but the Gators are hoping to make an impact this weekend. This is Hall's first of what will be all five official visits - so Florida is aiming to set the bar high this weekend.
