WEEKEND VISITOR UPDATES:
This weekend the Florida Gator coaching staff looks to continue to hit the recruiting trail hard this weekend as they have yet another big recruiting weekend on their hands. The Gators are expecting anywhere from three to five visitors in Gainesville this weekend.
Not only are the Gators playing host to several visitors this weekend, but a few of their top targets will also visit elsewhere this weekend.
Visiting Elsewhere
  • After officially visiting Florida last weekend four star FSU quarterback commit Treon Harris will officially visit Auburn. The Tigers have former FSU assistant Demeyune Craig currently on their staff and will likely have him spend a great deal of time with Harris.
  • Three star defensive end Rocel McWilliams, who also officially visited Florida last weekend, will be at Missouri this weekend, the school which he is committed to.
  • Rivals100 four-star defensive end Lorenzo Carter officially visited LSU last weekend and will be in Tallahassee this weekend to check out FSU. Florida has sent coaches by to visit with Carter, but are waiting to send coach Will Muschamp on January 30th, the day before Carter visits UGA officially.
  • Four-star wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie will visit Ole Miss this weekend after checking out UF last weekend. The Gators will likely be a finalist, along with Notre Dame.
  • Three-star offensive tackle Derrick Kelly will officially visit LSU this weekend after being in Tampa last weekend for a visit to South Florida.
  • Five-star defensive end Malik McDowell will officially visit Michigan State this weekend. The Gators don't really seem to be a legitimate option for McDowell despite being one of his finalists.
  • Miramar (Fla.) offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste will be in Morgantown this weekend visiting WVU. Florida hosted Cajuste last weekend and came away as his leader. His former head coach at Miramar is now on the Mountaineers staff.
  • Two Possible Visitors
On Monday Florida had five coaches on hand as the Gators conducted a dual in-home visit with Wisconsin commits Krenwick Sanders and Jeremy Patterson. Both set up official visits that day but have been off and on during the week of whether they will not be in Gainesville. Patterson backed off the visit earlier this week and as of Thursday morning Sander's coach said the pair would not make it down.
We have been told the Gators are hopefully optimistic to see them in town and felt there was a 50/50 chance they would make an appearance.
Inside the Gators will follow the Jesup (Ga) Wayne County duo throughout the day to see if they actually do go through with the visit or not.

Skinny: Wilson is one of most solid kids currently in the Gators 2014 class. He has also been the biggest recruiter in the Gators class, and actually set up his visit this weekend in order to come in with some uncommitted kids in order to help sway them Florida's way. That didn't work out as planned, but still expect him to be busy working on the two uncommitted visitors accompanying him in Gainesville this weekend.

Skinny: Worton had a brother that played for the Gators back in 2008 and is familiar with a game day in the Swamp. This visit will just be to meet with the staff and show how life is living on campus. He plans to make a final decision on signing day and Florida is looking to make a big push down the stretch.
