Weekend Visitor Preview: Three five-stars coming in

To start, Florida will have many of their current commits on hand for the regular season finale. Perhaps the most important committed visitor is Rivals250 cornerback Elijah Blades, who will be making his first visit to Gainesville since his summer commitment. This unofficial visit is big news for the Gators because it will allow him to use his official visit after the season.

Other Florida pledges expected in this weekend are defensive tackle Fred Hansard, defensive end Zachary Carter, wide receiver DaQuon Green, running back Malik Davis, quarterback Jake Allen, Ventrell Miller, cornerback Marco Wilson, and tight end Zech Byrd. If all expected visitors show then this would be the biggest turnout of Florida commits in The Swamp this season.

2019 defensive tackle commit Jacquaze Sorrells is also expected.

The Gators will also have many of their top uncommitted targets on hand as well for the marquee recruiting weekend.

One of Florida’s biggest targets this cycle has been Pensacola (Fla.) Washington offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, an Alabama commit. Though he’s remained solid with the Tide, he’s been open to taking other trips. This will be his first visit to Florida this fall. He says he hopes to have a “final decision” in December before he enrolls early.
