Will Snead be an EA SPORTS Elite 11 Camper

Florida Gator commitment, 6-foot-3, 205 pound Stephenville, Texas, quarterback Jevan Snead was in Las Vegas on Saturday attempting to nail down an invitation to the EA SPORTS Elite 11 Camp being held in California in mid-July.
EA SPORTS Elite 11/Nike Camp Player Personnel Director Brian Stumpf updated InsidetheGators.net on Snead's performance.

"I would rate his performance probably around a 7.5 or so (on a 1-to-10 scale)."
According to Stumpf, the young quarterback did several things well.
"His strengths were his accuracy and his release, which was pretty quick. He's pretty good on the short stuff, getting out quick so his receivers can run after the catch."
On the flip side there were also some negatives.
"In terms of weaknesses, obviously, his knee is not yet 100% so he looked a bit sluggish athletically," said Stumpf. "I didn't think his arm was quite as strong as it appeared on tape either."
Despite the fact that he was limited because he's been in the process of rehabbing a slight tear of the meniscus in his right knee, Snead is very much still in the running for one of the final Elite 11 spots.
"We're meeting on the final three spots today and he is certainly under consideration for one of the spots, although what his chances are I wouldn't know."
