He wasn't able to stay around for the evening session of Florida's Sensational Sophomore Camp, but for the short amount of time he was on campus Belleview (Fla.) 2019 offensive tackle Michael Tarquin made enough of an impression that the Gators extended an offer to the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder.

“I was there earlier today and worked out with Coach [Brad] Davis,” explained Tarquin. “It was really cool because I had it planned to go down to Miami tomorrow, but Florida asked me to squeeze in an early visit to them – they let me come in at a different time. It was really good, they ended up offering.”

Compared to some of the other offensive line coaches recruiting him, Florida's Davis doesn't have as an extensive of a coaching resume. However, he has other things working in his favor according to Tarquin.
