For the second week in a row, Florida dropped another close contest at home. Coming off the 17-16 loss to LSU, the Gators fell 19-17 to Texas A&M Saturday, moving to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the SEC.

1. Sometimes the stats don't tell the story: Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond was a subpar 8-of-24 passing. Florida out-gained the Aggies 242-83 on the ground. Overall, the Gators out-gained TAMU 371-263 yards. Florida also ran more play (68-62). Somehow, despite winning most of the important stat categories, Jim McElwain's squad still came out on the losing end.
