No. 21 Florida (3-1, 3-0 SEC) opened a three-game home stretch with a 38-24 win over Vanderbilt. LSU (3-2, 0-1 SEC) comes to The Swamp – a year later than planned – as UF celebrates homecoming. With the Tigers in town, these five Gators are On the Spot this week.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Feleipe Franks
As Franks returns to the starting lineup, he also returns to Five on the Spot. After being pulled twice in the first three games, Franks got a taste of what it’s like to come off the bench against Vanderbilt. The freshman signal-caller did what he was asked to do, which wasn’t a whole lot.
Franks primarily handed the ball off to Florida’s three running backs. As far as passing, Franks threw six passes when he ran the two-minute drill on the last possession before the half. In the second half, Franks threw a total of only eight passes.
Franks completed most of his passes (10-of-14) and did not commit any turnovers, making it one of his better outings of the season. Against LSU, however, he’s going to be expected to do more than just hand the ball off to the running backs.
