One of Florida’s top 2019 recruiting targets is transferring high schools.

Balsa Koprivica, the nation’s No. 5 ranked prospect, is heading to Windermere Prep (Windermere, Fla.) for his junior season.

The 7-foot-1, 240-pounder previously attended University School (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.). The Gators began the recruiting process with Koprivica when they mailed a questionnaire to him in 2015.

The Serbian native moved to the U.S. five years ago and holds 20 scholarship offers including Florida, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Wake Forest and Miami among them. The past two travel seasons Koprivica has played with Nike Team Florida. This year he averaged 8.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.

In addition to changing high schools Koprivica will also change AAU programs from Nike Team Florida to 1 Family. He is skipping the July live period, and instead is currently in Serbia getting ready to play for their U18 team in the European Championship that will be held in Slovakia July 29-August 6.
