Since Florida went on one heck of a recruiting roll from late July to early August it's been quiet for the most part on the recruiting front.

Actually, for almost the last two and a half months, it has been outright dead.

That silence came to a crashing halt on Friday evening as Tampa (Fla.) Cambridge Rivals250 offensive tackle Richard Gouraige announced his commitment to Florida via a video on SEC Country.

Two weeks ago, after visiting Florida for their game against LSU, Gouraige reported that he had co-leaders in Clemson in Florida.

Then, last week he announced that those were his two finalists, but didn't say when he would be making his pledge.

Well, the waiting game ended earlier this evening.
