Florida Gators commits/targets in the Rivals100

When the Rivals100 was released on Monday afternoon there were a couple of items of good news when it came prospects committed to the University of Florida.

First of all, Gators defensive end commit Antonneous Clayton moved up 30 spots, from No. 57 to No. 27 overall. In doing so he became Florida's only five-star commitment of this recruiting cycle.

The good news didn't end there as defensive back commit Chauncey Gardner moved up three spots, from No. 35 to No. 32. He is the highest rated four-star in the nation.

Then there is the case of quarterback Feleipe Franks. He dropped 28 spots, from No. 29 to No. 57 after a horrendous outting durng the Army All-American Bowl.

Not only does Florida have those three current commits, but there are several other Rivals100 targets still in play for the Gators.

Can you believe that just a couple of short months ago Florida was thought to be the leader. Now, after an uninspiring half a season of offensive ineptitude, he looks like the longest of long-shots
