Florida's Rivals100 Commits & Targets

Inside the Gators

On Monday afternoon when the final Rivals100 of the 2017 recruiting cycle was released it included only two Florida commits.

Defensive end commit Zachary Carter dropped down six spots from No. 78 to No. 84.

For the third straight rankings update cycle Elijah Blades saw his stock rise. This time though, it wasn't anywhere near as significant as before - when he moved up 136 spots combined. This time around he nudged up just one spot, going from No. 88 to No. 87 overall.

In the last round of rankings update Florida had 16 commits and targets combined in the Rivals100. There are no where near that many remaining this time around as prospect after prospect committed elsewhere or those who were wavering stuck with their pledge.

Florida only has two current commits included and realistically there isn't much hope to greatly add to that number down the stretch as there are only three Rivals100 targets still in play for the Gators.

Two top Florida targets - James Robinson and Jarez Parks - both fell out of the top 100.

That leaves Florida still in contention for No. 45 LaBryan Ray (up one spot), No. 47 Devon Hunter (up 10 spots) and No. 79 Levi Jones (from outside the Rivals250).
