Back in late February, Justin Johnson posted what he believed were Florida's 18 most wanted targets on the Alley.

With this Wednesday marking the 10 month countdown to Signing Day 2018, Inside the Gators takes a closer look at the top 10 prospects remaining on the board for this edition of the Terrific 10.

These are the Ten Most Wanted uncommitted prospects still considering the Gators based on need, ranking and Florida's chance of eventually landing them.

NO. 10

Reason for the Ranking: Takacs is the prototypical tight end that the Gators have lacked on their offense for years. Standing at 6-foot-6, and weighing 235-pounds, Takacs is a very good athlete, who shows an impressive ability as a receiver, and as a blocker. Florida’s tight ends continue to grow older, as three of the four tight ends on the roster are upperclassmen. The Gators need one or two tight ends this class who are ready to contribute after a year on campus, and Takacs fits that mold.

Competition: Georgia, Notre Dame, Wisconsin

The Skinny: While Takacs isn’t stuck on the idea of staying in-state, he admits that the lure of being closer to home is a factor in his recruitment. With Florida being the only in-state threat at the moment, one has to like their chances in this recruitment. Georgia is most likely the main threat to Florida, with Takacs set to make a decision before his senior season.
