Florida seeing top targets Friday

For the second day in a row the Florida coaching staff will be hitting the recruiting trail on Friday. Because the staff has to be back in Gainesville to welcome the weekend official visitors, the list of targets seen today isn't as extensive as those they saw on Thursday.

Here's a look at some of the names the staff is expected to see on today.

* Jim McElwain and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier will see 2018 wide out Jaylnn Williams, 2019 Florida commit Jaquaze Sorrells, 2018 athlete Amari Burney, and Jordan Minor.


* Chris Rumph and Torrian Gray will see Breyon Gaddy and Brandon Gaddy. Both are committed to Maryland, but have high interest in the Gators. They visit the weekend of January 27th.

* Director of Player Personnel Drew Hughes will see 2017 Georgia defensive tackle commit Devonte Wyatt. He will officially visit UF the weekend of January 27th.

* Kerry Dixon will be in the Orlando area to see 2018 lineman William Barnes, 2018 defensive end Stacy Kirby, 2018 running back Lorenzo Lingard, and 2019 commit Jaleel McRae.

* Tight ends coach Greg Nord will see 2018 Alabama commit Dameon Pierce, and 2018 linebacker J.J. Peterson

* Offensive line coach Mike Summers will see 2017 offensive tackle Caleb Chandler. The Three-star big man has Florida in his top three and will visit the weekend of January 27th.

* Tim Skipper and Randy Shannon will stay on campus to hang out with Levi Jones and Elijah Blades who are on official visits this weekend.
