Franklin (Ga.) Heard County five-star quarterback Emory Jones may be committed to Ohio State, but it isn't exactly a secret that Florida has remained an option.

Jones confirmed that during an interview with Chad Simmons prior to Sunday's 3 Stripe Camp stop in Atlanta.

"If there was one, it would probably be Florida right now," Jones replied when asked about who his number-two school is. "I've been in contact with them a lot. Coach Nuss [Doug Nussmeier], he came down and saw me throw this past Thursday. I just love what they do on offense. I just feel like they have great coaches who can develop me."

Though that is a bit of good news for the Gator Nation, don't put the cart infront of the horse just yet.

Yes Jones will take visits this fall, and it is incredibly likely Florida will get at least one, but he said that as of now he is still solid with the Buckeyes.

"It would take a lot for me to change my mind about Ohio State. It would probably take like a coaching change or something like that."
