Nakobe Dean is currently the No. 1 ranked outside linebacker in the state of Mississippi by Rivals. The four-star linebacker holds 22 offers, including ones from Alabama, LSU and Florida.

The first school to offer the 6-foot-1, 215-pound linebacker from Horn Lake (Ms.) was Mississippi State in early 2017. Although this happened while head coach Dan Mullen was at MSU, Dean said he did not have much communication with Mullen until he departed.
