JUCO All-American Banks saw an opportunity to return home and compete

Anyone who watched any amount of Florida football last year knows that without a doubt the Gators needed a major overhaul along the offensive line.

Well, help is on the way.

On Tuesday Florida picked up its third commitment along the line, the second from a junior college player, when Council Bluffs (Iowa) Iowa Western C.C. offensive tackle Noah Banks choose Florida over Arkansas, Texas, Auburn and Nebraska.

Because of of a situation dealing with the weather while he was on his way to Auburn, the NCAA ruled that though he didn't actually visit the Tigers, it counted as an official visit so he couldn't see either Auburn or Nebraska.

Banks said that he didn't feel like he was a fit in Arkansas' new offensive philosophy, so in the end, after taking back-to-back visits to the two programs, he said it came down to the Gators and the Longhorns.
