This past weekend Miami (Fla.) Central Rivals100 offensive tackle Navaughn Donaldson took his first of five official visits. This, his initial stop, was to the University of Florida.

The Miami commit arrived for his visit on Friday and left on Sunday. Accompanying him was his mother, Evaughn Person, who spoke with Inside the Gators following their weekend in Gainesville.

“We had a great time and I was very happy to see the turn out because I have never been to a game in The Swamp before,” said Ms. Person. “It was a great experience to me. He liked the tradition and how the players spend a lot of time with each other. They have the pre-game events like the team dinner and being at the hotel together. He liked how they do things to bond. He was able to hang out with the players and get a feel for how campus life is. Those things really stuck out.”
