The biggest news items out of The Swamp Monday focused on 10 Florida football players. The nine players suspended from team activities, including junior wide receiver Antonio Callaway and junior running back Jordan Scarlett, were all recommended for multiple felony charges in sworn complaints filed Monday morning. Head coach Jim McElwain also named redshirt junior Luke Del Rio his new starting quarterback, a story which broke prior to the coach’s scheduled press conference.
While those two stories are grabbing most of the headlines, McElwain had plenty of other things to talk about in reviewing Saturday’s win over Kentucky and previewing this week’s contest with Vanderbilt.
