FLORIDA TO CHECK OUT NEW QUARTERBACK ON MONDAY

With Florida's quarterback board currently consisting of two prospects who are committed elsewhere, the Gators will visit with Norton (Ks.) three-star Jace Ruder on Monday.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound dual-threat quarterback was committed to Tulsa, but has reopened his process. He has offers from Georgia, Florida State and North Carolina among others.

DEFENSIVE END HAS AN ALL SEC FINAL FIVE

This evening Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove three-star defensive end Caleb Tannor released his top five schools via Twitter.

2019 WATKINS SAYS TWO STANDING OUT

Nashville (Tn.) Magnet 2019 athlete Jashon Watkins has been committed to Florida once, and on the verge of committing another time, but is still on the market.

He plans on taking a visit to Notre Dame this summer and says that two programs currently stand out to him.

Raleigh (N.C.) Sanderson three-star defensive tackle Alim McNeill had good things to say about Florida after visiting the Gators last month.

For the second time this week a four-star running back that Florida is recruiting has come back on the market by decommitting from his current choice.

This time it is Bainbridge (Ga.) Rivals250 back Dameon Pierce - who has decommitted from Alabama.

Snellville (Ga.) South Gwinnet cornerback Terrell Smith is currently committed to Minnesota, but after speaking with Florida assistant coach Corey Bell today, he received an offer from the Gators.

TIGHT END TARGET AMONG FASTEST RISING PROSPECTS

On Tuesday Inside the Gators ran an update on Florida tight end target Kyle Pitts (Fast rising tight end talks upcoming Florida visit)- referring to him as a rising prospect.

On Wednesday Rivals analysts called him one of the prospects from the Mid-Atlantic whose stock is rising.

From Chad Simmons: Florida is one of several schools in the southeast who is still recruiting four-star linebacker Otis Reese. Despite the fact that he remains committed to Michigan, the Leesburg (Fa.) Lee County standout is still listening to others.

TOP BACK, BACK ON THE MARKET

Florida was thought to be one of the teams in the running when out of nowhere Melbourne (Fla.) Holy Trinity four-star running back Jashaun Corbin committed to Tennessee.

Not long after that commitment, Florida stopped by his high school to check in on him this spring.

Today, Corbin decided to re-open his recruiting process by decommitting from the Volunteers.

WILLIAMS GOING BACK TO KENTUCKY

For the second time in two weeks Florida's quarterback board took a bit of a hit with a top target deciding to go elsewhere. This time it is Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett three-star Jarren Williams coming off the board with his decision to recommit to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Williams first decommitted from Kentucky after he visited Florida back in April. The Gators have been by his high school twice this spring, but in the end, he turned down Florida, Georgia and Florida State to remain with the Wildcats.

* Rob Cassidy reports that Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas 2019 quarterback Curt Casteel grew up a fan of the Gators and is waiting and wanting a Florida offer.
