Recruiting Wire: Williams decommits from Florida

Three-star JUCO safety Deontai Williams, who was a surprise commitment and take for Florida back over the summer, has decided to decommit.

Florida offered two four-star defensive backs on Wednesday:

* Johnathan Huggins

* Ladarrius Bishop

Florida defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has extended an offer to South Carolina safety commit Jonathan Gipson.

Two weeks ago Florida commit Richard Gouraige took an official visit to Auburn, on Tuesday two Tigers coaches visited with him at his house.

Florida has extended an offer to another Mississippi State commit, this time being Monroe (La.) Richwood tight end Geor'Quarius Spivey.

Though he would have to shift around his last two official visits in order to reciprocate the trip, on Wednesday Florida is scheduled to visit with five-star defensive end Micah Parsons.

Council Bluffs (Iowa) Iowa Western C.C offensive lineman Noah Banks - who is currently committed to Arkansas - has set two other visits to SEC programs over the next two weeks.

He will visit Auburn this weekend and Florida next.

Florida lost a pair of 2019 commitments when four-star receivers Frank Ladson Jr. and Tyrique Stevenson tweeted out Tuesday afternoon that they were reopening their recruiting process.

Newly minted five-star - Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy cornerback Brendan Radley-Hiles has set a December official visit with Florida. After setting the visit, he started reaching out to Gators commits on social media.

For the second time in less then 24 hours Florida has suffered another decommitment. This time it is Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star offensive lineman Curtis Dunlap. He visited Arkansas two weeks ago and is scheduled to visit Minnesota this weekend.
