South Florida Recruiting Notes: Top corner has Florida in top four
There were a couple of big Florida Gators related stories coming out of South Florida on Saturday as the area schools held their annual media day sponsored by the Miami Dolphins.
Two of the top defensive backs in the region have Florida in the running for their services.
It was mixed news for Florida with Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage Rivals100 cornerback Tyson Campbell.
He and his father both weighed in as he looks to make the best decision for his future.
Interestingly, dad and son have a different take on the schools that are in the lead for Tyson, lending some perspective on the complicated recruiting terrain.
Tyson says it’s Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Miami as his top four; dad Lucius says his take is that the schools in the lead position are Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and Miami.
