Despite being committed to the hometown LSU Tigers for over a year now, Baton Rouge (La.) Southern Lab four-star offensive lineman Kardell Thomas has made no bones about the fact that Florida is a school he is seriously considering.

The main reason being the Gators hiring of offensive line coach Brad Davis, who is from the same area and actually got his coaching start as an assistant coach at Southern Lab High School.

Thomas and Davis began developing a relationship over the spring and fast tracked it when Thomas visited Florida in July.

Now, this past weekend he took his second trip to see Florida - this time during a game day setting - taking on the team he is currently committed to - LSU.

Inside the Gators spoke with the 2019 Rivals100 member after the game.
