There are but three certainty's in life: death, taxes and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas High School producing top tier college talent.

They have done it year-after-year, recruiting cycle after recruiting cycle for well over a decade now.

The next in line at south Florida's biggest talent mill is 2019 cornerbck Jaden Davis.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder already has an offer from Florida and is visiting the Gators today for their Friday Night Lights Camp.

Though his visit isn't over, Davis is impressed with what he has seen thus far.

“It's going good, I really like it,” stated Davis. “I like the campus and everything about it so far."

These camp settings are of course primarily used to improve a player's skill set. However, it is also a chance for coaches and prospects to bond.

Davis is getting to spend plenty of time with the man who could be his future position coach.

“I've been talking to Coach [Corey] Bell. He's just saying, 'Come be a part of DBU.'”

With over 30 offers to date, Davis has his choice of college football powers. He has been on a few visits, but feels there's something different about Florida.

“I would have to say the campus,” said Davis. “The atmosphere up here is just different from everywhere else.”

Not only are the Florida coaches working on Davis, but Gators 2019 four-star commit John Dunmore is as well.

“He's been the one who's recruiting me the most out of all the commits. He is the one talking to me trying to get me to come in.”

With roughly 19 months to go before he has to make a final choice, Davis said he isn't ready to make a decision just yet.

However, Florida has strongly positioned themselves for his services.

When asked about standouts, he replied, “I would say Florida is standing out right now.”

He added that Wisconsin and Ohio State have his attention as well.
