Even as late as it is - there's five weeks remaining - in the 2018 recruiting cycle, Florida is still busy evaluating prospects, handing out new offers and setting new official visits.

In the last 36 hours the Gators have handed out two new offers and have seen two four-star rated prospects set official visits to Gainesville.

In the Alley Rivals Southeast Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons has the latest on Alabama commit, Cordele (Ga.) Crisp County Rivals250 linebacker Quay Walker and where Florida stands with him at the moment.

Simmons also provides The Inside Scoop on Mission Viejo (Calif.) Rivals100 cornerback Olaijah Griffin. The No. 38 rated prospect in the nation, who was at one time a Tennessee commit, talks about his talks with a Florida assistant and an upcoming visit to The Swamp.
