Two top backs visiting today

Florida isn't expecting to play host to many top visitors until Saturday, however there will still be a couple of prospects on campus today.
And while the quantity may be lacking, the quality certainly isn't.
Two of the four expected visitors are top 2018 running backs.
While one - Iverson Clement - may be more highly rated nationally, the other - Jashaun Corbin - might be more highly sought after by the Gators coaching staff.
The other two are 2019 teammates who are thought to be among the best prospects in the nation.

The Skinny: Though you may not see a ranking or stars associated with his prospect profile, Corbin is one of the fastest rising prospects in the Sunshine State with recent offers from programs such as Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee and others. JaJuan Seider and Kerry Dixon have been working on him on Florida's behalf, but he doesn't have a leader. He just recently visited Florida State for a Jr. Day, this visit will give the Gators a chance to get a foot in the door.
The Skinny: He mostly mentions schools up north such as Penn State, Michigan and Ohio State, but he does have an existing relationship with new Florida running backs coach Seider. The Gators are getting a visit of 'convenience' today in that he is stopping by on his way to IMG's 7v7 tournament. Will the visit lead to something more is the question? Florida hasn't enjoyed a ton of success in the northeast, and truthfully, with the backs available in the south this cycle, they might not need to stray this far from home.
TWO FROM 2019
They are still a cycle away from being in the news more often, but make no mistake about it Saint Simons Island (Ga.) Frederica Academy Class of 2019 teammates Jashawn Sheffield and Jaylin Simpson are recruiting royalty.
The duo already has offers from every major program in the country, including the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan, etc... the list really does go on and on.
The home state Georgia Bulldogs are thought to be the outright leader for the 6-foot-2, 175-pound Sheffield. As for Simpson, he says Ohio State currently sits atop his list with Georgia in second place.
