1. Jawaan Taylor’s rapid emergence: The rise of Taylor, a true freshman, at the starting right tackle spot has to be one of the biggest pleasant surprises of the 2016 campaign thus far. After reshaping his body before he arrived at Florida mid-summer, the 6-foot-5, 340-pound Taylor immediately impressed the Gators coaching staff and earned press conference shout-outs from Jim McElwain right from the get-go during fall camp. With Fred Johnson struggling at right tackle and Taylor performing excellently, Florida opted to start Taylor in his spot and give Johnson more reps at right guard. It's hard to argue against the fact that Taylor has been Florida's most impactful true freshman - and it's best offensive lineman up to this point.
