After more than 21 months at Florida, redshirt junior wide receiver Dre Massey finally scored his first touchdown as a Gator on Saturday against Texas A&M.
When a sweep was called deep in the red zone, Massey was determined he would not be denied.
“I knew I was going to score,” Massey said. “There was no way I wasn’t going to score.”
“You go look at all the pictures of the touchdown, you’ll see me smiling in each and every one,” he added. “It was just kind of a feeling of I’ve been coming a long way, working very hard and getting back to the point.”
