ALABAMA TARGETS
Simmons: As for his performance, Jenkins was solid in Indianapolis. He has worked hard to get in better shape and it is showing in his play. Recruiting wise, Oklahoma may hold a slight edge and Missouri and Ole Miss seem to be two schools he is really looking at hard as well.
Wheeler: With teams like Florida, Auburn and Alabama showing an interest, but not yet offering, he surprised me with how well he looked during 1-on-1 drills Saturday. I was expecting more of a project, but he looks like one of the top linemen in the southeast. He isn't incredibly physical, but I thought he moved well for someone his size. He spoke of the two in-state schools, Florida and a couple of other SEC schools as still being in play if they start showing more interest. For now, it looks like Florida is content with staying in-state for their offensive line needs, but he could be one to watch down the line if something fall through with others the Gators have more highly rated at this time.
